2007 Perennial Peanut - Source List of Planting Material (Rhizomes) and Hay1
Producers interested in planting perennial peanut or purchasing hay may use the information provided in the following tables to assist them in finding a source of rhizomes or hay. No warranty as to purity of rhizomes (free of common bermudagrass, black berry briars, etc.), quality of rhizomes (energy content), or quality of hay obtained from these sources is intended or implied by publication of this list of sources by the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
Many growers who have acreages of perennial peanut with hay and rhizomes have not asked to be listed. Your county Extension agent may know of such growers in your county. Growers having rhizomes and/or hay for sale should register their availability with their County Extension Office or Gordon Prine, Agronomy Department, University of Florida, Gainesville FL 32611.
