SS-AGR-342: Wright's Nutrush: An Invader of Seasonal Wetlands in Florida

Figure 10. The benefits of early treatment (May 12) of Wright's nutrush are demonstrated by the resulting open water and appearance of native plants within the plot (photographed July 9, 2009 at Blue Cypress Water Management Area, Upper Basin, St. Johns River). A potential disadvantage of early treatment is that ATVs must be available to access the marsh, which often remains dry into May. Plants were just past ankle height (25 cm, 10 in) at the time of treatment.
