Characteristic feeding damage of the brown marmorated stink bug is also evident. Late instar nymphs of leaf-footed bugs (Hemiptera: Coreidae) are often mistakenly submitted as brown marmorated stink bug samples. The Coreidae pictured is probably the western conifer seed bug, Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann.
