Figure 14. Bischofia (Bischofia javanica) is a weedy tree in landscapes. It is common in old fields and disturbed wetland sites and also invades intact cypress domes and tropical hardwood hammocks of south Florida. It is not statutorily prohibited, but it is listed as invasive by the Florida EPPC, and its use has been discouraged by the FNGA.
