Figure 6. The eastern diamond-backed rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus) is also similar in appearance to the Florida pinesnake, but is a much heavier-bodied snake with obvious dark diamond marks bordered in white down the back, a dark facial band, and a large rattle.
