AEC393: Creating Interest in Learners

Figure 2. These 2-week-old American Alligator babies playfully tug at the fingertips of biologist Ken Rice. These young alligators are recent hatchlings from more than 1,200 alligator eggs collected from Florida's Lake Apopka and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge for cooperative research by the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, Florida's Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission and the Florida Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.
