HS959: "Elephant's Foot," a Basal Stem Disorder in Greenhouse-Grown Bell Peppers

Crack-like epidermal wounds are present on the root/stem junction (hypocotyl in the seedling). The plant was almost completely wilted and it easily separated from the roots when it was pulled out of the container.
