Figure 4. The eastern diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus) reaches lengths of up to 2.1 m (7 ft.) It has a heavy body like the Burmese python, but a triangular-shaped head and an unmistakable yellow-and-brown diamond pattern along its back.
