Figure 21. A single wasp (Gonatocerus sp.) emerged from each hole in the egg mass of Homalodisca vitripennis (Germar), the glassy-winged sharpshooter. The adult wasps chew a small circle in the eggshell of the host as well as the leaf to escape.
