WEC260: Florida's Introduced Birds: House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)

Figure 7. House Finches (Carpodacus mexicanus) are found throughout the United States, and are similar in appearance to female House Sparrows. However, House Finches are more heavily streaked with brown, rather than black, and lack the light stripes above and behind their eyes.
