Figure 8. European Starling eggs are similar in appearance to the eggs of American Robins, but are slightly smaller and darker. American Robins don't breed in Florida and don't nest in cavities, so there is little chance of confusing the eggs. Remember, European Starlings nest in cavities, and their eggs should not be confused with blue eggs laid in nests in trees.
