EDIS Librarian

Diana Hagan

Diana Hagan has been with IFAS since May 2002 and with UF since 1999. She holds a bachelor's degree in Classics from New College of Florida, a master of Latin from the University of Florida, and a master's degree in Library Science from the University of South Florida.

Editors

Susan Clarendon

Susan Clarendon joined the EDIS editorial staff in May 2008. She holds a B.A. in government from Florida State University, where her coursework included environmental health science and natural resource economics. She has completed several graduate-level courses in the UF College of Journalism and Communication.

Susan Gildersleeve

Susan Gildersleeve has been with IFAS/ICS since 2001. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from UF and a master's degree in fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She is just one “module” away from becoming a Florida Master Naturalist.

Erica Pittman

Erica Pittman joined IFAS/ICS in February 2007, and has been with the University of Florida for over ten years. She is a doctoral candidate in UF's English department where her research was on 20th century science and culture, and holds a master's degree in English from SUNY Albany and a bachelor's degree in English from Drew University.

Travis Prescott

Travis Prescott came to IFAS/ICS in November 2007, and has been with the University of Florida since 2004. She did her graduate studies at UMass-Boston, after earning her bachelor’s degree at Boston University where she studied biomedical engineering and Renaissance literature.

Wesley Croom

Wesley Croom has been with IFAS/ ICS team since 1989. He attended East Tennessee State University studying printing, photography and computer graphics, and managed a printing and publishing company until coming to UF.

Hope Crawford

Hope N. Crawford joined IFAS/ICS eight years ago as one of ICS' graphic designers and a member of the EDIS team.

Melanie Mercer

Melanie Mercer has been with IFAS/ICS team for over 25 years. She joined the EDIS team six years ago after working in IFAS Printing and providing fiscal support for IFAS/ICS and Agricultural Communicators in Education (ACE).

Vesta Richardson

Vesta Richardson joined IFAS/ICS over twenty six years ago. After seven years with IFAS Printing, she worked in Graphics and Media and she has spent the past two years as a member of the EDIS production team.

Kirk Wedekind

Joining IFAS/ICS in August 2008, Kirk Wedekind is the newest member of the EDIS team. He has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and a bachelor's degree in politics from Wake Forest University.
