Access Terms: free to land grant university employees with registration.
Description: The Compendia synthesize a wide range of scientific information that is
useful for scientists and extension educators, particularly when called upon to provide fast
and accurate information regarding newly emerging animal diseases and plant pests. The
regularly updated Compendia are comprised of peer reviewed and edited information from
thousands of specialists throughout the world. Includes compendia of Forestry,
Crop Protection, and
Animal Health and Reproduction resources.

Resource: AGORA: Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture
Description: provides access to over 400 journals from major scientific publishers in the fields
of food, agriculture, environmental science and related social sciences. AGORA is available to students
and researchers in qualifying not-for-profit institutions in eligible developing countries.
Resource: eJDS-electronic Journals Delivery Service
Description: geared to facilitate the access to current scientific literature for free. The goal
is to distribute individual scientific articles via e-mail to scientists in institutions in The Third World
Countries who do not have access to sufficient bandwidth to download material from the Internet in a timely
manner and/or cannot afford the connection. Providing scientists with current literature will support their
ongoing research.

Description: houses FAO documents and publications, as well as selected non-FAO publications, in
electronic format. It enables users to easily access the accumulated knowledge and information produced by
