WEC242: Burmese Pythons in South Florida: Scientific Support for Invasive Species Management

Figure 15. Python 5 (female, 4.6 m/15.1 ft.) was tracked starting on 6/1/06. It made small movements until 7/14/06 when it moved out of the Retention area and was next located in ENP on 8/3/06. It moved 56.0 km (35 miles) to arrive at its original capture location near Pa-hay-okee hammock on 9/25/06, and remained in that area for the rest of the study. Source: University of Florida
