These young alligators are recent hatchlings from more than 1,200 alligator eggs collected from Florida's Lake Apopka and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge for cooperative research by UF/IFAS, Florida's Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission, and the Florida Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.
