Known for their bold, tropical foliage, crotons(Codiaeum variegatum) are perennial evergreen shrubs that can be grown outdoors in warmer parts of Florida, and some cultivars can be raised as decorative houseplants. The beautiful leaves of the croton are also used to enhance floral arrangements.
