Flower Thrips
Flower thrips damage crops through feeding and oviposition, which result in deformation of growing tissues and lead to yield losses in harvested fruits and vegetables, as well as esthetic damage to flowers. They can cause significant economic damage to a range of crops, including citrus, blueberries, strawberries, field pepper, and ornamentals. Field identification of different flower thrips species is difficult without expert help.
