Cane Toad

The cane toads Rhinella marina (formerly Bufo marinus) are also commonly called the marine toads or "bufo" toads. They are native to South and Central America and have become established in central and southern Florida. They prey on native frogs, lizards, snakes, small mammals, and just about anything else that fits into their mouths. Cane toad toxin can poison pets.
