Anaerobic Digester Systems

Livestock wastes can be important sources of nutrients for crops, but manure must be managed properly to prevent loss of nutrients to the environment. One method of stabilizing manure is anaerobic digestion, a microbe-mediated process carried out in the absence of oxygen that breaks down the complex organic compounds in the manure into simpler compounds. The process results in the production of renewable energy in the form of methane-rich biogas.

Microwave Radiometers

A microwave radiometer is a radiometer that measures energy emitted at millimetre-to-centimetre wavelengths (frequencies of 1–1000 GHz) known as microwaves.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or Drones)

The unmanned aircraft and all of the associated support equipment, control station, data links, telemetry, communications and navigation equipment, etc., necessary to operate the unmanned aircraft.

Weather Stations

A weather station is a facility, either on land or sea, with instruments and equipment for measuring atmospheric conditions to provide information for weather forecasts and to study the weather and climate. [NALT]  [AGROVOC]
