<p>Help us promote healthy landscapes across Sarasota County. According to the Southwest Florida Water Management District, our region will be experiencing a projected 44 million gallon per day shortage of water by 2040. If you live in Sarasota County, you qualify for a free irrigation evaluation. Evaluations include a site visit that lasts about 1.5 hours. An Extension professional and Master Gardener will come to your home and look at each of your irrigation zones for misaligned spray heads, leaks, and plant water needs.</p>
<p>The Master Gardener will also be available to answer questions about your landscape plants. At the end of the evaluation, we will give you a customized folder full of brochures, information, and other goodies that we think you might find helpful as you make those system improvements. Finally, we will follow up with you via email with a personalized report reiterating our recommendations and details of your potential water savings. So what are you waiting for?
