Herbaceous perennials

[under construction] Perennials are plants that grow indefinitely. The shrubs and trees in our landscapes are also perennials, but these are referred to as woody perennials. Herbaceous perennials have little or no woody tissue, although some can become woody shrubs under the continuous growing conditions of South Florida.
