Policy Education

Local, state and federal governments or regulatory groups appointed by governments have a large role in decision making that impacts citizens and communities. Policy education is based on the idea that public participation in governmental decisions is valuable and that if the democratic process is to function effectively, the people must be well-informed about the major issues of the day, and must have the opportunity to participate in the decision-making process. Articles published in this topic area are meant to inform the citizens/public about policy decisions currently being decided.
